It has been close to 10 years since our last Capital Appeal in 2017. The 2026 Capital Appeal aims to raise $10 million to complete the final stage of Mount Sinai College’s campus redevelopment. The project will create future-focused learning spaces, including a dedicated Music and Innovation space, new Early Learning Centre classrooms, an all-weather playground, and enhanced campus security.

The redevelopment will:

  • Protect our children by enhancing safety and creating welcoming spaces where they can learn with confidence.
  • Inspire creativity and possibility through environments that support imagination, collaboration and innovation.
  • Strengthen belonging and community by creating a vibrant South-East hub for families to gather and grow.

The project will include several new play environments designed for wellbeing and connection, including:

  • An all-weather playground for year-round play and daily wellbeing
  • A new exclusive playground for Early Learning Centre students
  • Outdoor and undercover playground spaces that support active play and social connection.
The redevelopment has been designed to support future-focused, relational learning, with spaces that encourage inquiry, creativity, emerging technologies and real-world problem-solving. These environments reflect the world our children are entering, not the one we remember, ensuring Mount Sinai continues to thrive in a changing world.
Construction is expected to commence in early 2027, with the new facilities ready in 2028.

The redevelopment has been carefully planned to ensure the College can continue delivering its strong educational program while works take place. The project forms part of a long-term campus plan designed to support the school’s growth while maintaining the warm, nurturing environment where every child feels a sense of belonging.

Yes. Every contribution makes a meaningful difference. The Appeal welcomes donations of all sizes, and multi-year pledges are warmly welcomed, allowing families to spread their support over time. There are also a variety of volunteering opportunities, including community and alumni initiatives.
